I Thanked Someone Today…
Today I thanked someone for giving me fresh vegetables from their garden, and fresh picked blueberries from their blueberry bushes. Then I thanked God for their generosity, and for all His abundant blessings that He so freely gives me.
I like the idea behind the website “A Holy Experience”, and have started working on my list of 1000 things I’m thankful for.

It’s incredible how quickly the list adds up, and to realize how very blessed we are.
This is a great question, Plinky!
Just a shoutout from someone in Southeast Asia who also keeps a gratitude list 🙂
I’ve been “backreading” your posts. I love your blog because it somehow also mirrors the reason behind my blogging life.
I wish you well.

Thank you for the reminder to look at what I am thankful for. Too often, I am looking in the wrong direction.

You are so totally right, gratitude is one of the fastest tracks to happiness. Right now I’m actually reading Robert Emmons’ “Thanks, How the Science of Gratitude Can Make You Happier.”

I’ve found that making a list of God’s gifts, helps me to look for them throughout the week. I’m keeping my eyes open and trying not to take even the smallest thing for granted. Making a mental note, or even jotting them down on a napkin, I pray, will give me a more grateful heart! I love the idea using Pinkey. I think it could really make a person think!
