Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines DISTORT
– when used as a transitive verb –
1) to twist out of the true meaning or proportion
2) to twist out of a natural, normal, or original shape
or also: to cause to be perceived unnaturally.
The belly of a female goat is distorted out of its original shape by carrying her growing kids until they’re born.
At first glance, the two giraffes in the middle could be perceived as one giraffe with two heads and six legs. But that would be a distorted view of reality.
The distortion here is a tux jacket draped over a tractor parked in the middle of a shiny wood floor, with bar stools in the background.
A tractor parked in a field or barnyard with a Carhartt work jacket thrown over it would look more natural.
But if the tractor is waiting to be driven by a ring bearer towing a flower girl in a wedding, it’s not distorted at all.

Fun interpretations. Especially like the tux and tractor picture.

Good pictures. The tractor and tux set-up is a great play on this week’s theme! But I have to say the giraffes are my favorite.

Thank you! I loved watching the giraffes, they are so graceful, and the children were fascinated by them because of their long necks.

As a picker…I love the FARMALL…My Papa had a “Super- A” as long as I remembered him living.,. Also, just last week on the History Channel TV Show; “American Restoration” Some guy paid a ridiculous price for one exactly like the one in your photo to be restored” Wagon and ALL…
Thanks for the Nostalgic blast…
( personally, if I were going to restore one…it’d have to have wheat, hay and cockle berry straw in the front grill, and at least some heat tempered oil and gasoline trails in the engine compartment”. lol, but, that’s just me…
Bless You

I’m glad you enjoyed some nostalgia:-) Most tractors I see fit the description you gave, with pieces from the fields stuck to them, plus a nice layer of dust lol.
