If we view prayer as a constant fellowship, an unbroken audience with the King, it then loses every vestige of dread which it may once have possessed; we regard it no longer as a duty which must be performed, but rather as a privilege which is to be enjoyed, a rare delight that is always revealing some new beauty. ~ E. M. Bounds
When I took this picture I wanted to stop for awhile and sit on the swing. It was so peaceful and beautiful there, and would be a wonderful spot to sit and spend time with King Jesus. But it’s not the place that makes the time wonderful, it’s the unbroken audience of the King.

Thank both of you for the nice comments about our blog, Lee’s Birdwatching Adventures. I like your shortened version of “Lee’s Birds.”
You both have great sites also. Lord Bless, Lee

Gorgeous picture and a really good word!
I’m sending you two links I think you’ll like: One is to an article on the Lee’s Birds site. This husband and wife are strong Christians and devote their lives to studying birds and teaching God’s Word through the truths they discover about God’s creation — particularly birds. The second is to an article on the Pure Glory site. You may already know about these blogs and read them, but just in case you don’t, I wanted to pass these on. Both of these articles were a real blessing to me in the face of some pretty negative circumstances this week, and I thought you would be blessed by them too — when you get time to read them.

Thank you so much hanginoutwithgod! Lee’s Birds is one of the blogs I read, but I haven’t read there recently. The ‘desert-dwellers’ post is very timely and appropriate for me, as is the power of praise post on the Pure Glory site. You were right about them being a blessing to me, and you have blessed me by passing them along. Thank you! I hope and pray that your circumstances have improved.
May you enjoy a rare delight and have new beauty revealed to you as you spend time with the King.
