Wonderful photo of the wind turbines. It would be great if the wind was causing them to work….must have been the winds day off (lol) Lovely 😉

Thank you! It’s interesting to see rows and rows of them, all turning at the same time.

I sense a certain stillness with these Silhouetted Windmills ….
Awaiting limbs outstretched for a whisper of a breeze to start gently edging round … round….Round…ROUND
ooops getting carried away 🙂
Lovely shot.

Thank you! They do look to be standing idle. I can easily get carried away looking at photos, they all have a story to tell.

Thank you! Would that be green windmills? 🙂

Nice shot. I don’t yet understand why old windmills in Holland are considered very photogenic while new ones are blots on the landscape. I like the look of the new ones too.

Thank you! I like the look of the different windmills too, they each add their own touch to the scenery around them. It did take some getting used to when they first began building the windfarms in fields of corn or soybeans, with rows of windmills running alongside rows of plants. And rows of little blinking red lights at night where it used to be open, starry skies.
