I’m new at blogging, and it probably shows. Fortunately, WordPress makes blogging about as easy as it can be. I just have to follow a few instructions to set it up and manage it, then keep writing and adding content. This is true for everyone, not just me.
I’m not new at hearing God’s voice, but every day with Him is a new opportunity to listen, to hear Him, and to follow Him. Fortunately, God makes hearing from Him about as easy as it can be. I just have to read and follow His instructions regularly, then keep listening for His voice and doing what He says. The closer I stay to Him, the better chance I have of hearing His voice. This is true for everyone, not just me.
In order to follow His instructions, you have to read them, of course. Fortunately, He has made this as easy as reading a book. Or if you don’t like to read, you can get it in audio form. Either way, God’s book, the Bible, is the most truthful, reliable instruction book ever written. And it’s not just an instruction book. God’s Holy Bible has incredible stories, poetry, and accounts of the most miraculous, amazing events that ever happened, or that will happen in the future. Yes, the future is written in God’s book, it’s not just about past events. He speaks to you in His book because He was thinking about you when He wrote it. The best way to learn to hear His voice is to become familiar with it by reading His book.
One of the truths found in God’s book is that He is merciful. He understands our weaknesses and knows we couldn’t make it without His mercy. So He gives us new mercy with every new morning, to help us with each new day. His mercies are new every morning, we don’t have to rely on yesterday’s mercy for today. (Lamentations 3:23)
On the days when my life gets too loud or too busy to hear His voice, He is still faithful. And in His great faithfulness I wake up to new mercies the next morning. This is true for everyone, not just me.
